The first bronze casting of Reflecting is here. Awarded 3rd place for sculpture in the Reflections 2012 show at the Rowayton Arts Center.
The edition will be limited to 30 at the most, that’s if the mold lasts that long. It’s been a tremendous challenge, first sculpting and then getting it through the processes of mold making and casting, but so worth it.
Update: Three more castings have been made, each has a different patina; black, silver, and another with the same iron/copper patina as this first artists proof. They are numbered 1 through 3 from the edition. The version shown here (the unnumbered artist’s proof) was sold at the Carriage Barn Art Center, Member’s Show. The 2nd casting with a silver patina has also been sold.
